Love Humanity began as a dream.

The dream began in 1989 in the heart and mind of Louise Williams after she spent six months in south India. At that time she was shocked at the way children without parents and families were treated and the conditions in which they lived. They did not have a chance.

Some of the children were fortunate to live in orphanages, but even those conditions were way below the normal Indian standard of living. From that time on it had been Louise’s desire to create loving family homes for children in India who were without them.

In the year 2000, while attending a meeting at The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) of Southern California, Louise met Ketan N. Parekh. After establishing a business relationship, they became good friends.

One day, in 2001 during a deep discussion, Ketan asked Louise what was her heart’s desire. Without hesitation, she replied, ‘Providing loving home environments for children in India and around the world.’

He then encouraged her to follow her heart. He also made a promise that if either the government or private individuals in India would step forward to help by giving land, resources and/or time he would help raise money in the USA.

In November 2001 shortly after this discussion, Louise closed her business and went to India. After conducting research, which proved there was a dire need in India to do something for the children, and after meeting numerous people in various parts of India willing to help, it was decided to begin.

Love Humanity is now reality.
